About Foundation for Community Consensus

Foundation for Community Consensus (FCC) is the Indian office of the Czech research organization Institute H21 (headquartered in Prague). In India, the FCC team works on policy research and spreading awareness about participatory democracy among Indian youth. We also organize experiential workshops on Public Policy, where students are engaged in case studies and simulations of real-life governance problems. These are organized in partnership with NYU’s Governance Lab, the United Nations Global Compact Network India and the Czech Embassy in New Delhi.

At University Connection, we are constantly connecting with the right kind of resources for our students.  Depending on the student’s interest, we align them for internship opportunities, summer schools, community service, encourage them to initiate personal projects, and sign up for online courses.

So if you haven’t started building your profile yet, now is the time to start!

The Governance, Public Policy & Leadership 2.1 Summer Fellowship for high school students, in partnership with NYU’s GovLab, the UN Global Compact Network India and the Czech Embassy in New Delhi, is an introduction to Public Policy and Governance for students who have some interest already in these topics, and who may be considering a career/higher studies in these disciplines. These disciplines are trending now, but as with any niche field there is a dearth of information about opportunities. The first batch was set up in 2019 to address these concerns for high school students in India as well as abroad (including students from Germany and Bahrain).
